Set Computer Background

It's certainly amazing how a simple change of image or wallpaper makes your surroundings seem fresh again.

Of course, even with a new computer background your office or room can still get colorless, and makes it difficult to be valuable and creative. In fact, according to the principles of your environment can either invigorate your mind and body or make you feel dull, downward and boring.

Internet is a field to share the most charming and miraculous pictures of our world and the universe in which we are living. There are many cool websites which offer to download free wallpapers costless. You can download these free wallpapers from these websites.

There are many types of computer backgrounds i.e. in art categories like abstract and3d wallpapers (3d wallpapers present 3d environment on computer's screen that is why 3d wallpapers are very famous), operating system specific computers backgrounds like macintosh, windows 7, windows xp and windows vista wallpapers. There are also other categories like transport, animals, celebrities, sports and events etc.

There are following methods to set your computer's wallpaper, depending on the operating system you are using.

Windows OS

Windows XP:
Click on start menu, control panel, 'Appearance and Themes' click on 'Display' or right-click on your desktop and choose 'Properties', 'Desktop' and select any wallpaper available in the list or click on 'Browse' button to choice a wallpaper from any location from your computer.

Windows Vista:
Open Desktop Background by clicking the 'Start' button, clicking 'Control Panel', clicking 'Appearance and Personalization', clicking 'Personalization', and then clicking 'Desktop Background'. Click the color or wallpaper you want to display on your pc or laptop. You can also browse any picture from your pc to set.

Other Method:
Open the image in 'Windows picture and fax viewer', Right-click on the picture and 'Set as desktop background'.

MAC OS

MAC 8.x:

Open the control panel and press on 'Desktop Pictures', click on 'Remove Picture', then click on 'Select Picture' and select your wallpaper to display, in the last choose 'Position Automatically'.

MAC 9.x:

Open 'Appearance' control panel and select 'Desktop' tab, press 'Remove Picture' and select your wallpaper you want to display, choose 'Position Automatically' and click on 'Set Desktop'.
